It is 14 km long, but if you can plan a two-car system and start high, much of the hiking is easy. It starts at the edge of the McQueen Lake property, not far from the Day Center/Smiling Pond. WebMiddle Grasslands trailhead for informal trails at 8.5 km from the cattleguard. Hikes on either side of Lac du Bois starting from the parking area at 14.3 km. Longer Routes probably require some navigation. Recommended are: Mara Mountain Wheeler Mountain Opax Mountain Stony Lake area Long Lake area Batchelor Ridge
