WebAbout our club. The Chelmer Cycling Club is based in Chelmsford, Essex, UK. Our club is now 75 years old and has around 130 members; ranging from 6 to 92 years of age from mainly the Chelmsford & surrounding village areas. We have our own headquarters in Chelmsford from where our weekend club rides depart plus for training and social events. Whether a rider or not, you can enjoy the excitement of this great cycling occasion. As many as 25,000 amateur riders, many raising money for charities, will make their way through the Essex leg of the event.
